Now this is the story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute just sit right there I’ll tell you how I became the…wait…wrong intro.
Hi! Welcome to my hot blessed mess of a life. It’s still lacking in catchy theme songs (unfortunately), but I promise if you stick around we’ll have a good time. My name is Morgan and I’m a 20 year old wanna-be 4th grade teacher, a leggings as pants advocate, a Friends enthusiast, and a lover of God. I also love country music, Dr. Pepper, and Bath & Body Works candles.
In 2014 at age 18 I had my son Easton. Being a single mom came with a lot of unique challenges, but with the love and support of my family and friends I was able to grow as a person and learned how much love a mother can have for her child.
Easton is my sweet boy who’s favorite things are his grandma, his many stuffed animals, trucks, and playing in the dirt.
Look at that face..isn’t he just adorable? (Even though he talks really loud, takes up more of the bed than he’d ever admit and likes to force me to choose where we eat.)
I am a college student working towards my degree in elementary education in hopes that someday I’ll be able to teach the upper-grade level (3rd-5th) kiddos. I’m hugely passionate about teaching and working with kids, so even though it’s going to be freakin exhausting, I’m thrilled that I’ve found my “calling” in life.
We’re also members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (or Mormons). My faith is one of the most important things to me- if not the most important thing. So important to me that it’s something I want to share with all of you on my blog. If you don’t like what I have to say, that’s fine but please don’t bash my religious views on my blog. This is my space of the internet, and I’d love to talk about it with you all because my beliefs really are what has made me who I am. And I’m proud of that.
Anyway- thanks for reading! I appreciate each and every one of my readers and followers, and I love getting comments and hearing what y’all have to say! I hope you’ll come back again soon!
