Fall and winter are funny seasons because they can be so different depending on where you live. Here we’ve been experiencing a really mild, pleasant fall. It’s actually been a little too warm for my liking because I’m ready for sweaters and boots all day everyday.
Because of the weather, I’ve been able to bring a bunch of shoes that might be more spring/summer into November and might even be able to keep wearing them until December if the weather keeps up.
Today I thought it would be fun to create a post sharing some of my favorite shoes and the shoes that I’ve been wearing on repeat over the last few months! I think shoes are such a great way to add to an outfit (of course) and having shoes you love make getting dressed that much more fun.
So let’s get into it!
Avarca MIBO Leopard Print Sandals:
These are some of my favorite all around shoes because they’re lightweight, really comfortable, and the pattern is just different from what I would normally go for! Avarca sent these to me and while I was expecting a neutral like black or grey, I was stunned to see that they had gifted me these! In fact I was a little bit bummed for a minute.
And then I started wearing them and fell in freaking love. The pattern and style of shoe is so unique and a really fun way to dress up an outfit. They go so perfectly with a laid back pair of jeans and a tee shirt, or a dress- making them idealic for my lifestyle and wardrobe.
Plus they’re just so comfortable. I could wear them all day everyday. Unfortunately I’ll have to store them away when the weather cools down, but you can bet that once it starts to warm up again I’ll be pulling these bad boys out again!
Black Cut Out Flats:
These are trending all over right now and have been for a while. I originally was not on the fan train for this style and thought it was a little too much for me, but now that I have two pair (this black that I wear all the time and a mint/grey pair from RubyClaire Boutique) I see the appeal. They’re just cuter than the traditional flat but they also provide a little more support!
I actually got these only a few weeks ago, but I’ve worn them at least twice-three times a week since buying them. They’ve become my go-to pair because they’re again, transitional. That’s a big thing for me if you haven’t been able to tell.
Nike Classic EZ Slip-On Tennis Shoe
I bought these thinking that I could totally keep them clean if I tried. While they aren’t destroyed yet after three months, they are pretty easy to get dirty but they’re also probably my favorite pair of shoes right now. I wear them all the time. They’re so easy to throw on with jeans and a sweater or tee shirt. They’re also pretty stylish in comparison to a lot of other tennis shoes. They don’t look sporty, just very classic (thus the name I’m assuming).
I’ve gotten a few questions on the clogs and have to say that I actually love them. I wear them all the time for reals, not just for Instagram photos. They did initially hurt to break in because I’d never worn shoes made of wood or leather, but after breaking them in they’ve become very comfortable.
I wear them usually with a dress, if my Instagram photos didn’t give that away. I have a lot of dresses, so any shoes I can wear with dresses are great but I like these shoes because they’re different than the typical heel.
Now that the weather is cooling down I still plan to wear them with jeans and with tights when I’m wearing a dress. The style is one of my favorites and I just really like the added couple of inches, despite being 5’9. They’re such a fun pair to wear around and I always get compliments.
These have been a staple this fall with jeans and a sweater or tee shirt. They’re super comfortable and cute while also being ridiculously easy to pair with anything!
Again, I love the heel because that’s who I am as a person, but I just really like that they go so well with everything. I think every woman should own a pair of black booties to wear around. And this pair from Target was just so affordable and they’re pretty good quality too!
There you have it- my five favorite pairs of shoes for fall. I’ve been switching between these five pairs pretty regularly over the past month and don’t really intend to switch it up much, aside from trading in the Avarca sandals for a warmer pair once the weather hits the 60s.
Do you have any of these shoes? Which is your favorite?
