It’s finals week. Another semester is coming to a close and I’m one step closer to finishing my degree and starting my teaching career. Jake is another semester closer to law school. We’re both surprisingly calm on the outside, but one look at my hot mess of a house would betray me. I may or may not be wearing dirty laundry right now. The last three days have been a blur of exhaustion, cramming information I should’ve worked harder to get down earlier in the semester, and a whole lot of self-motivation.
Whenever I’m in need of motivation, I listen to a Ted Talk. I’m a huge fan of Ted Talks. I listen to them all the time in the car, when I’m trying to fall asleep, even when I’m just sitting around. I will spend hours listening to talks while I clean up. I love to listen to people share things they’re passionate about and share information with others, and it’s a dream of mine to one day speak at a Tedx convention. Since I spend a lot of time listening to these talks, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite’s of all time. Some are funny, some are more inspirational, and some are a little bit of both. I hope you enjoy!
