When I had Easton, I had just next to nothing for him of my own. His dad and I had been planning on placing Easton because we were both 18 and had no intention of being together. It just wasn’t a good situation overall. In the end my plans were changed and on March 8, 2014 I became the mom to my sweet little boy.
Because of the crazy situation I was lucky that I had some friends and family members that sent/gave us tons of clothes. Seriously we had clothes coming out of our ears (and I didn’t get to buy any of it!). This was an amazing blessing, and I will always be incredibly grateful for the generosity and compassion shown to me by everyone during that time, but I also have a TON of baby clothes. I have two huge vacuum storage bags full of baby clothes guys, honestly.
If you’re anything like me and you love to keep things forever (or plan on having more kids and don’t want to buy them a whole new wardrobe) you know what it’s like to have to unpack the dresser and re-fill it with clothes every few months. Especially with littler ones, it can be a daunting task to sort through clothes. I remember sitting in my room folding clothes for hours with Easton on my lap or in the Moby wrap. It was a huge pain! And while I’m glad to have so many clothes for our soon-to-be-here little bub, we also have tons of clothes I probably won’t even keep just because there are so many. But momma’s (and daddy’s) I’ve found the perfect way to combat the pile of baby clothes!
