This is a sponsored post from eShakti.com, but all opinions are entirely my own.
If you knew me at all, you’d know that I am not a stylish or trendy person by any means. I’m a T-shirt, leggings and slippers (or “Jesus Sandals”/Jandals/J-Cruisers) type of girl. Me dressing up is anytime I’m wearing actual pants. Like y’all seriously…my husband dresses up more often than I do.
Having said that, I am not immune to the typical girly “I love fall clothes” shtick, including everything and anything plaid. Flannels? Always. Plaid scarves? Yes please. Even the inside of my combat boots are plaid. And plaid is not going anywhere soon (or at least that’s what my Pinterest is telling me).
So naturally when eShakti gave me the opportunity to test out their site and try this super cute plaid dress I couldn’t refuse! It doesn’t matter whether you’re a fashion blogger or not, when an awesome brand offers you the chance to work with their website you say an enthusiastic YES! and you pretend you’re a fashion blogger for a day.
(And now for the photos of me having no idea what the heck I’m doing)
I’m actually really excited to share eShakti with you all because it’s a clothing website that allows you to customize what you buy. For example, this dress was originally a shorter, racerback style dress. While that’s cute and all, I wear garments, so the bottoms go to just above my knee, and the top has capsleeves, meaning the original style of the dress would not work for me.
With eShakti I was able to choose my dress size based on easy to follow measurements that were clearly listed. I could also pick my neckline, what style sleeve I wanted, and I was able to choose the length then enter my height, which is awesome because I knew that my dress would be the length I wanted.
And the best part? The dress has pockets! Well, that and it came early and fit me exactly the way I wanted it to.
Of course now that this eternal Las Vegas summer is finally coming to an end, I won’t be wearing it much without a sweater, so here’s how I’ll probably wear it out and about this fall and winter!
So in short, my overall thoughts on eShakti? I would definitely give it my stamp of approval, especially for finding modest and stylish clothing without breaking the bank. So why don’t you check it out for yourself? Be sure to look for them on Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram too!
